Ride Along is a action packed all around funny film with great moments, I find it funny how the close ups of Ice Cube always so serious and then when he's like am going to be the happy guy then smiles is just priceless. This film has 2 main characters Kevin Heart and Ice Cube they both did outstanding the there roles I do like Ice Cube due to rap however today I will say Kevin Heart did a great performance when acting "hard" when pretending to be Omar. There was a few twists like how they tried to set Kevin Heart up to fail by making him do the stupidest of things and then when a real call comes to it and he found out Ice Cube was just messing with him on the other jobs, Kevin Heart then goes up the the thugs with the guns and starts acting crazy, this film was pretty funny. A cool moment was just after the hold up in the abandoned factory, they jump and building explodes and Kevin Heart is like oh thought It would of been bigger, then suddenly it all goes off and then a big steel bar hits Ice Cubs car and then his car Explodes. My Favourite bit has to be when they are in the firing range and Kevin Heart missed every shot and he says "I think the aim is off" then Ice Cube grabs the gun and makes every shot and says "yeah its a little off" Kevin Heart then gets hold of a shot gun and goes flying. The acting in this film was overall okay I think John Leguizamo could of acted a little more tough like in some of his other roles. The film has a low rating by me because I feel like its a film you only watch once or twice, not something that you enjoy watching over and over however still recommend you watch due to been average film overall.
