Plot:
The story follows 17 year old student called Izumi Shinichi, who lives in Tokyo. One night, aliens who call themselves Parasytes land on earth. They are small, so they crawl into people's heads and control them from inside. When they get into people, they can transform their heads into blades, have superhuman reflexes, senses, strenght and many other things. And they use other people as their food.

When Migi, parasyte that attacked Izumi, tries to get into his head, he fails and gets into his arm, so Izumi still have full control over his brain, but before he would be able to start fighting other parasytes, he needs to become friend with Migi, and gain his trust.

In the background of awesome main story, there is a beautiful love story between Izumi and Murano Satomi, so this is really a mix of genres.

My review:

Personally, this is definitely one of the best things i have ever seen. I've watched whole first season (yeah, there will be second) with 24 episodes in two days, it's addicting, just like peanuts, when you start, you can't stop watching it. The story is just awesome, idea of the anime, and that spooky feeling you have trough the whole anime, it's just priceless. I don't know what to say, whatever genre you love, even if you don't watch anime, Parasyte is definitely a must watch, for everyone.

And yeah, you will cry like a baby at the ending, or be angry like never before, but prepare for the last episode. Not the final fight, but the thing that will happen after it. No spoilers
